SPRING MEDITATION ONE OR TWO DAY NATURE & MEDITATION RETREAT

Friday & Saturday, May 17-18, 2024. 

Join Rev. Keith Horwitz for his annual Spring Meditation and Nature Retreat in Ventura, CA.  This retreat will focus on an incredible journey in one of the most beautiful National Parks in the Country - Santa Cruz Island.  With virtually no human inhabitants, being on Santa Cruz Island feels like you’ve gone back in time - to a pristine and peaceful place, much like the Chumash natives experienced centuries ago.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THIS RETREAT:
DAY ONE: Friday, May 17, 2024

• 2:00-3:00pm Arrival at Four Points by Sheraton for an afternoon meeting and Yogic Sleep meditation experience (Please bring a yoga mat)  
• Enjoy an wonderful no-host dinner
• Come together as a group for an early evening gathering focused on relaxation, inspiration and joy.

DAY TWO: Saturday, May 18, 2024

• A relaxing day of insight, easy hiking and amazing scenery
• Various meditations, history, beauty, stillness and fresh air 
• A one hour boat ride to and from the island (Boat ticket is included)
• A picnic lunch on the island (not provided)
• Dolphin and Whale sightings from the boat (not guaranteed, but very likely)
• Experience how nature can empower your dreams with adventure & fun!

DAY ONE (Friday) DETAILS

Meet at the Four Points by Sheraton Ventura Harbor, 1050 Schooner Drive, Ventura 93001.  *Special arrangements have been made for rooms at a rate of $169.00 plus tax (Double occupancy) for our group. Parking is $12.00 per day/ per vehicle. While they now charge for parking they did lower the room rates by $40.00 from last year, so it is better overall!  If you share a room with someone it will be half the rate! You must make your own reservation, 805-658-1212, Ext 1251 and reference the name of our group: SOUL CENTER in order to receive the special rate.  Please note that rooms will be held at this rate only until March 12th.  Afterwards the room will be subject to availability and possibly an increased rate. Please also note that if you are a Points member and want to earn points (or use points) you will have to book your reservation as an individual not as part of the group.  Please note that on Day Two, you will be packed up and drive to the harbor for our Island adventure.  Details below.

Timing: Arrive 2:00-3:00 for check in, Meet in banquet room at 4:00, Dinner at 5:30 and evening gathering at 7:00pm

Where:   Meet Ventura Harbor >> Santa Cruz Island 

When:    Saturday, May 18th, 2024

Timing:  Arrive in Ventura Harbor at 7:45am to prepare for departure.   8:30am **Boat leaves for Island arriving at 9:30am   4:00pm Boat departs Island arriving in Ventura harbor at 5:30pm

TRANSPORTATION: Ground transportation to Ventura harbor is the responsibility of each registrant.  

• On Saturday the boat departs at 8:30am sharp!  You MUST arrive no later that 8:00am to check in.  If you miss the boat there is no refund.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If we cancel the trip for any reason you will receive a full refund.  Occasionally the weather does not permit for the boat to operate, you will be notified the morning of if there is a weather related cancellation and issued a refund for Saturday only.  If you cancel 7 days or less prior to day one there is no refund. If you cancel 21-8 days before the day of departure You may receive a 50% refund or apply 90% towards another trip or workshop.  If it is earlier than 21 days there is a 10% processing fee and you will receive a 90% refund.  If you are late on day two and miss the boat for any reason, there is no refund. Hotel room fees are subject to hotel cancellation policy.

Join Rev. Keith Horwitz for his annual Summer Meditation and Nature Retreat to the top of Mt. San Jacinto, 8,500 ft. (2,590 meters) above sea level and above Palm Springs, CA.  This retreat will focus on an incredible journey in one of the most beautiful State park nature areas.  It may seem counter intuitive to go to the desert in July, but when it is 95-100ºF (35-37ºC) on the desert floor it is a glorious 68-72ºF (20-22ºC) atop the mountain in the pine trees.
