Yoga Nidra in Los Angeles

Yoga Nidra / Nidra Meditation

in Los Angeles at Aum & Garden, Sherman Oaks

An enjoyable and easy practice, Nidra Mediation is based on the principles of Yoga Nidra "Yogic Sleep" which allows us to delve deep into higher states of consciousness.  All it requires is to lie down on your yoga mat and listen to the Guide. You will be lead through a series of breathing exercises and simple instructions. Some of these include visual imagery or a scan of the body, which occupies the mind and prevents it from becoming involved in the usual mind-chatter. Within a short time, you become submerged in the alpha state, where brain rhythms drop into the silent space within.

Divine Sleep Nidra Meditation has the power to transform us at our core. This ancient tantric meditation systematically guides you through each layer of being called the koshas. These include the physical, energetic, mental, emotional, and spiritual layers, making this practice a healing that is inclusive of our whole being.

Yoga mats, blankets and a pillow are available, but feel free to bring your own special one if you like!  TO GUARANTEE A SPOT, PLEASE REGISTER IN ADVANCE.

It is best to enjoy Nidra Meditation before a meal.
